September Reflections
It’s September now and time for me to look back on my goals for the year while there’s still a little time left to make positive changes.
What did I do right?
I think I’ve been a much more understanding person of myself and of others this year. I can’t do everything. I’m not as young and as sharp as I used to be. And I’ve learned that others are trying their best as well.
What could I have done differently?
I could have said no more. And kept my priority list simple and maybe on my bathroom mirror.
What does all this mean for the remainder of 2026?
I’m going to try to be consistent. A little each day is better than nothing at all.
I’m going to trust myself more. No one knows me and my issues like I do.
I’m going to make sure I’m having some fun. Life is racing by and may soon be over and I don’t want to have the regret of not enjoying time with my family and building meaningful relationships.
I’m not going to forget my purpose. We each have important work to do so let’s get to it.
What have you learned this year?
